"Trans Siberian Orchestra meets Led Zeppelin, Amazing show!" - Carrollwood Cultural Center

The very essence of Led Zeppelin is captured by this remarkable group of talented musicians ...live the experience ...once again! Mark Stein / Vanilla Fudge

An Extraordinary Page.Plant.Led Zeppelin Experience

An unbelievable show put on by amazing musicians! inspired by the musical evolution of both Jimmy Page & Robert Plant, In The Light of Led Zeppelin is bringing audiences the new musical and visual interpretation of the Led Zeppelin Experience the same way Page and Plant presented it in 1994 through 1998. A genre-bending, chance-taking project, the music is performed with the same attention to detail using authentic instrumentation. This extraordinary, highly refined tribute ensemble digs deeper into the Middle Eastern and classical influences that permeated “Kashmir” — and then follows that intriguing thread into brand-new sounds when performing the classics, providing a unique, not-to- be-missed musical experience, from the hard-rocking Zeppelin classics to the acoustic masterpieces.

Tinsley Ellis is an American blues and rock musician, who grew up in southern Florida.

His love for electric blues grew by listening to British Invasion bands such as the Yardbirds, the Animals, Cream, and the Rolling Stones. Inspired by a live appearance by B.B. King, he was determined to become a blues guitarist. In 1975, he played with the Haygood Band while attending Emory near Atlanta. Two years later, already an accomplished musician, he returned to Atlanta and joined his first professional blues band, the Alley Cats, a group that included Preston Hubbard of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Ellis graduated from Emory University in 1979 with a degree in history. In 1981 he formed the Heartfixers, with the singer and harmonica player Chicago Bob Nelson. The group recorded three albums for the small Landslide record label, one with the singer, Nappy Brown before breaking up in 1988. In 1988 Ellis signed a recording contract with Chicago's Alligator Records. According to Billboard, "nobody has released more consistently excellent blues albums than Atlanta's Tinsley Ellis. He sings like a man possessed and wields a mean lead guitar."

His debut solo album on Alligator Records, Georgia Blue, was released in 1988. Alligator then reissued two of his earlier CDs, Cool On It and Tore Up (featuring Nappy Brown). Ellis' next four releases were Fanning the Flames (1989), Trouble Time (1992), Storm Warning (1994), and Fire It Up (1997). Artists including Peter Buck (of R.E.M.) Derek Trucks and Chuck Leavell joined him in the studio. He worked with record producers, Eddy Offord and Tom Dowd.

He was twice nominated for an Emmy for his writing on HBO's The Chris Rock Show and was a stand-out on both Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and The Comedy Central Roasts. Nick also has four stand-up specials including 2019’s “A Breath of Fresh Air”. Nick currently hosts The Nick Di Paolo show Mondays through Thursdays. Doors at 7 PM, show starts at 8 PM. In this day of watered down comedy Nick Di Paolo's brutally honest performances remind us of what great stand up should be - funny, socially relevant and a little bit reckless.

His strong political opinions and razor wit make him a perfect fit for talk radio. He currently hosts “The Nick Di Paolo Show” Mondays through Thursdays and has been featured on “The Nick Di Paolo Show” on SiriusXM, and “The Nick & Artie Show” on DirectTV.

He has performed on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Conan O’ Brien. He was twice nominated for an Emmy for his writing on HBO’s The Chris Rock Show. He has also had three half hour standup specials on Comedy Central, and four one-hour specials: “A Breath of Fresh Air” (2019) and the wildly popular “Raw Nerve”, “Another Senseless Killing” and “Inflammatory”. He was one of the stars on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and a stand out on many Comedy Central Roasts.

Workshop Description

Do you have a big heart and an interest in solving some of the biggest social problems in the world? Starting a non-profit and carrying out a social mission can be an extremely rewarding experience. But just like starting a for-profit business, there are steps that you need to take to ensure that your non-profit organization is financially sustainable.  One of the most important parts of sustainability is the acquisition of grant funds. Grants are known as a way to get “free money” to support your business but the reality is that there is a lot to the process.  In this 2-hour intro to grants workshop, you’ll learn what grant funds really are, how to qualify, and insider tips and tricks to get your program funded!

Grants Ink

A team of practitioners with over 25 years combined experience, we are the ones who get the job done. After over a decade of serving nonprofits in multiple roles – from volunteers to part of management – we’ve learned the in’s and out’s of securing and sustaining grant funding. We’re constantly learning more about the field and focus on a transparent, ethical approach to acquiring grant funding to support nonprofits. Gone are the days of hiring a grant writer with the most connections for the highest dollar. Today, we empower nonprofits with the knowledge and skills to craft proposals that attract funders and create real change in the community. We believe that grant funds should be equally accessible to all qualified nonprofits and that with the right tools, organizations can achieve sustainability and growth. We’re here to support impactful causes that serve our communities needs and create a better world for all.
